Renee
Certified Veterinary Technician
Renee has over 22 years of experience in the Veterinary field. She received her certification in 1998, and has been working for the Small Animal Clinic for over 16 years. Her passion for her patient’s health and well-being is always her first priority. Renee’ strives to treat every patient as if they were her own pets.
When she is not at the Small Animal Clinic Renee’ enjoys hunting and camping with friends and family. Renee’ strives towards continuing her education on the most current and best ways to serve her patients.
Julie
Certified Veterinary Technician
Julie is a fifth generation Arizona native born and raised in Coolidge. A graduate of University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science she also played trombone in the marching band for 3 years. In 1991 she began a career at a referral hospital for horses and was certified in 1992. Retired after 23 years Julie enjoyed directing the church choir and the Desert Song Community choir. In January of 2024 it was back to her passion of the health and welfare of animals , at the Small Animal Clinic in Casa Grande.
David
Veterinary Assistant
David graduated from SUNY Delhi in upstate New York with an AAS in veterinary science technology and has worked as a veterinary technician, chemistry laboratory technician and microbiologist at different stages since then. During his studies in college, he took the courses in primatology with the non-human primates on site.
No animals were harmed during the writing of this bio.
David is also a published author!
Jonavan
Veterinary Assistant
Originally from California, Jonavan has a strong interest in aquaculture and reptiles. Long term goal for Jonavan is to pursue advanced studies to become a veterinarian working with exotic animals.
Gloria
Veterinary Assistant
Grew up in New Mexico on a mini farm with animals of all shapes and sizes. Acquired passion for learning veterinary medicine from working with the animals on the farm. In pursuit of this, went to Pima Medical Institute for veterinary assistant. Always looking forward to continuing to learn and help in a field that is never boring and a lot more to learn every day.
Customer Service
Lacey
Lacey is a born and raised Arizona native and spent her school years in Casa Grande. She attended the Veterinary Assistant program at Apollo College after high school and started her career with the Small Animal Clinic in November 2005. Lacey was a Vet. Assistant for several years, but currently is part of our Customer Service Team!
Lacey loves working with animals and being able to help make pets and their owners feel comfortable and have a positive experience. She likes to draw blood, place IV catheters, and is very good with restraint. Although she’s not assigned as a Tech. Assistant, she still lends a hand when needed.
Alisha
Alisha hails from New Hampshire but is now a “semi-native” Arizonan. Customer service is her specialty being in the field for over 10 years. She has a Boxer, Bentley and 2 green anoles, Newt and Vampire. She likes hanging our at home watching TV.
